theoretical basis
The three theoretical foundations of eco-translatology are the important premise and motivation of its objectivity, existence and sustainability. The logical reason is that without the enlightenment and guidance of relevance chain, it is impossible to think about the relationship and communication between translation activities (translation ecology) and nature (natural ecology).
If we do not further study the similarity and isomorphism between translation activities (translation ecology) and nature (natural ecology), then it is impossible to introduce the theory of "adaptation/choice" suitable for nature into the study of translation studies; If the theory of "adaptation/choice" is not introduced into translation studies, it is impossible to construct a theoretical system of translation adaptation/choice theory.
If it is not based on the theoretical system of translation adaptation and selection theory, it is impossible to further develop and expand the "three levels" research of eco-translatology, including macro-ecological view, meso-ontology and micro-text operation.
Finally, without the "three levels" study of eco-translatology, it is difficult to construct a relatively complete theoretical system of eco-translatology. This is a gradual development process from small to large, from local to whole, from less systematic to more systematic.
