Measures for graded management of food production and operation risks
China Food and Drug Administration recently issued the Measures for the Classified Management of Food Production and Management Risks. The risk classification management mentioned in the Measures refers to the supervision and management of food producers and operators at different levels by the food and drug supervision and management department based on risk analysis, combined with food category, business format, production and operation scale, food safety management ability and supervision and management records of food producers and operators, according to risk assessment indicators, combined with local supervision resources and supervision ability. According to the Measures, the risk levels of food producers and operators are divided into four levels from low to high: A-level risk, B-level risk, C-level risk and D-level risk, corresponding to at least 1 time, 1-2 times, 2-3 times and 3-4 times a year.
