Xiaoquan, the hometown of Jiang, a filial son in the Eastern Han Dynasty, is the birthplace of the allusion "Jiang's filial piety, Yongquan Yue Carp", which is recorded in historical books such as The History of the Later Han Dynasty, Huayang Guozhi and Water Mirror Zhu. Since the Eastern Han Dynasty, there have been cultural relics, historic sites and houses with filial piety culture characteristics in Xiaoquan, such as Jiang Cemetery, Jiang Temple and Xiao Street. In particular, the legend of "Three Filial Pieties in One Door", the drama and folk art of "Peace Delivers Rice" and the folk custom of offering sacrifices to filial sons are also passed down by the people of Fiona Fang. In addition, Professor Jiang Yuxiang of Sichuan University wrote a paper on the origin of the story of "three filial piety" from the perspective of folklore a few years ago, and the quotation in the paper is very clear.
Second, filial piety culture originated from Confucianism and is an important part of Confucian culture. The healthy, reasonable and scientific core of Confucian culture constitutes an important part of today's socialist core value system. In the whole socialist core value system, prosperity, democracy, civilization, harmony, freedom, equality, justice and the rule of law are advocated at the national, social and citizen levels respectively. Patriotism, dedication, honesty and friendliness are in the same strain as the ideal goals of "humanity", "benevolence" and "harmony is precious" advocated by Confucianism and Confucian culture. Of course, the socialist core value system has greatly enriched and developed Confucian cultural thoughts, which is of great practical significance for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation today. In recent years, many experts and scholars have published many works on this issue, among which the best I know is Chen Deshu, a researcher from our Academy of Social Sciences. He has been paying attention to this topic, doing a lot of research and writing a lot of articles. So I won't elaborate on the above two questions. In view of my long-term work in the grass-roots propaganda and cultural departments, historical opportunities have given me the opportunity to contribute to the development of filial piety culture in terms of ecological cultivation, resource exploration and value development with many comrades present and absent today, so I have a deep personal experience. Therefore, I would like to talk about my immature views on how Deyang can strengthen its leadership in the research and development of cultural resources of virtue and filial piety, increase administrative impetus, carry forward excellent culture of virtue and filial piety, and promote the construction of a demonstration zone of socialist core value system. First, the evaluation of the overall progress of promoting the culture of virtue and filial piety in our city;
We Deyang people inherit and carry forward the folk culture of virtue and filial piety, starting from the grassroots. Facing the cultural resources of virtue and filial piety with great social and economic value, the exploration started early, but the promotion speed was slow. As Ai Siqi said in the Course of Materialist Philosophy, its development shows a wave-like progress and a spiral rise. Although it is in the forefront of the country, the strength, depth and breadth of theoretical research, the ideological education of the people, the application in the construction of a harmonious local society, and the development of the tertiary industry of tourism culture are obviously behind those areas with filial piety cultural resources in China, such as Xiaogan in Hubei, Yuncheng in Shanxi, Jiexiu in Shandong, Zibo in Jinan, Linyi and Changqing. Investigate its reason, I dare to think that leaders at all levels are not aware enough, and the administrative promotion is not strong enough, especially the work is not coherent from session to session.
Second, the three stages of the development of Deyang filial piety culture in the new period:
The first stage originated from the historical inheritance of the profound culture of virtue and filial piety by the people in Xiaoquan and surrounding counties and townships in our ancient town. After liberation, even during that period, the folk custom of people going to Jiang cemetery to burn money and paper to sacrifice their filial sons was very secret, but it never broke. By the end of 1980s, a group of retired rural cadres, teachers, doctors, etc. Facing the transfer of rural labor force and the implementation of the national family planning policy, I feel the social reality that "every family has an old man, and everyone will be old". I suggest that the township party and government leaders cultivate the ecological culture of filial piety, restore the filial piety culture and education places, and guide the people of Xiaoquan to love the old man and support their parents. Therefore, relying on the provincial cultural relics protection unit "Hulong Buddha Pagoda" and the ancient buildings under the pagoda, the clay sculpture of the legend story of "Three Filial Pieties" in the ancient town was created, and the "Three Filial Pieties Garden" was launched for people to entertain and receive filial piety culture and ideological education. 1996 10 by summing up the educational effect of "three filial sources", Xiaoquan Town started from the development idea of "pure atmosphere, upright folk customs and rich merchants", raised more than 30 million yuan by means of land transfer, mass donations and loans from the town foundation, and began to integrate filial piety culture education, entertainment and leisure, and commercial development. The second stage is the earthquake from September 2000 to 2008. Through several years of observation and in-depth investigation of Xiaoquan folk customs, the Propaganda Department of the District Party Committee and the Cultural Tourism Bureau, together with the township party committee and the government, "discard the dross and select the essence, and carry forward the traditional Chinese virtues;" With the theme of "Purity, Correctness, and Building a Base for Respecting the Elderly in China", we will strive for the Municipal Tourism Bureau and the District People's Government to jointly hold the "First Filial Piety Culture Tourism Festival in Deyang, China". After being rendered by the media, it quickly attracted widespread attention in China. In 200 1 year, the provincial academy of social sciences, the provincial bureau of retired veteran cadres, the provincial committee on aging, the Communist Youth League Committee, Sichuan University and other provincial departments took the initiative to intervene, organized experts and scholars to hold seminars, helped set the goal of promoting filial piety culture, and started the construction of "China's filial piety culture research and communication center", "China's demonstration base for respecting the elderly" and "youth patriotism education base". In 2002, through the efforts of these provincial departments, our province took the lead in commending 100 "filial sons" and "Top Ten Filial Stars" for the first time in China, which greatly promoted the promotion of filial piety culture. However, at that time, Jingyang District was adjusted and established soon, after the division of municipal and district powers, the fiscal revenue dropped sharply, the rural cooperative foundation was cleaned up and rectified, and the economy was very difficult. The necessary funds for holding these activities depend on the sponsorship of Xiaoquan township enterprises, shops and even tricycle masters 10 yuan and 20 yuan. Literary and artistic activities are friendly performances of various literary and artistic groups in urban areas. Advertising is a free sponsorship of the city's propaganda and cultural departments. After that, the leaders of our district Committee changed, and the pace of promoting the culture of virtue and filial piety gradually slowed down. The main factor is that our current outlook on political achievements leads to endless paintings, one after another. Slowly, the activities of holding the Dexiao Cultural Tourism Festival were actually handed over to the town itself. Due to the limited social resources that the township party committees and governments can gather, the work of promoting the culture of virtue and filial piety, which is conducive to promoting the construction and development of the tertiary industry of harmonious Deyang tourism culture, is almost at a standstill.
The third stage is after the "5. 12" earthquake in 2008. The district government seized the historical opportunity of post-disaster reconstruction. First, the cultural relics of provincial cultural relics protection units such as Longhu Pagoda, Jianggong Temple, Jianggong Cemetery, Mosque and Vu Thang Palace have been comprehensively cultivated, and the folk custom of "Safe Rice Delivery" has been declared as a provincial intangible cultural heritage list. Second, relying on filial piety cultural resources, Islamic national cultural resources and agricultural cultural resources in Yan Quan, western sichuan bazi, the ancient town is scientifically planned and built. At present, the built-up area covers an area of more than 30 square kilometers, integrating cultural relics, cultural buildings, residential landscape in western Sichuan, Islamic ethnic customs and Yan Quan farming civilization. The ancient town of Dexiao culture, with developed transportation, complete infrastructure, prosperous commerce and trade, simple folk customs and peaceful people's lives, stands on the northwest edge of the western Sichuan Plain with a brand-new historical style. As the material carrier of Deyang to build a demonstration area of socialist core value system, it is waiting to set sail for a new historical goal.
Third, build a municipal leadership platform, strengthen administrative impetus, and strive for the upper reaches:
I have always believed that the attraction of an ancient town to the outside world depends not only on old streets, temples, trees and old houses, but also on rich cultural relics and heavy ideological and cultural support. Virtue and filial piety culture are cultures that still have strong vitality in human society after thousands of years of historical changes, and are the most important contents of family virtue, civic morality, harmonious society and the construction of socialist core value system. Today's Xiaoquan ancient town, under the premise of complete tourism elements such as travel, entertainment, shopping, food, housing and transportation. Deyang should earnestly strengthen the understanding of cadres at all levels, especially our leading cadres, on the value of cultural resources of virtue and filial piety, and attach great importance to it ideologically and practically. In particular, it is necessary to set up a leading or coordinating body to promote the culture of virtue and filial piety at the city level, gather the city's social resources, and strive for the attention and support of relevant provincial and state departments, social science academic institutions and social groups. Adhere to the China Deyang Filial Piety Culture Tourism Festival, conduct in-depth and systematic research and excavation of filial piety culture, and pay tribute to filial sons and daughters with great fanfare. At the same time, vigorously carry out the activities of moral filial piety culture into communities, institutions, factories, rural areas and schools, strive to improve the humanistic and ideological literacy of citizens of different occupations and ages in the city, and earnestly promote the construction of socialist core values demonstration zones with the promotion of moral filial piety culture as the carrier.
