Peng Min, doctoral supervisor, was born in February 1958, and her native place is Huazhou, Guangdong. 1975 joined the work. 1982 graduated from the biology department of Lanzhou university with a bachelor of science degree. 1982 Since February, he has been engaged in scientific research in Northwest Plateau Biology Institute of China Academy of Sciences. 1993- 1994, went to Canada as a visiting scholar for one year. He used to be assistant and deputy director of the Institute of Northwest Plateau Biology of China Academy of Sciences, and now he is a researcher, director and professor of Gao Xi Institute of Graduate School of China Academy of Sciences. He is also the director of China Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Research Association, the director of China Resources Society, the member of Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicine Professional Committee of China Pharmaceutical Society, the vice chairman of Qinghai Pharmaceutical Society, the vice chairman of Qinghai Geographical Society and the national soft science expert. In June 2003, he was hired as a doctoral supervisor.

He has long been engaged in research work in the fields of vegetation ecology, environmental ecology, resource ecology and regional sustainable development on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Participated in or presided over the Qinghai Vegetation Study and the compilation of a series of vegetation maps, the Study on Water Level Decline and Eco-environmental Protection Countermeasures in Qinghai Lake, the Overall Strategy of Social and Economic Development in Qinghai Lake Area, the Agenda of 2 1 century in Qinghai Province-the Strategy of Sustainable Development, and the Strategy of National Tibetan Medicine Development. Research on science and technology action strategy of beautiful mountains and rivers in Qinghai province, ecological environment evolution in the source area of the Yangtze River, and sustainable development strategy. It is revealed that the main reason for the decline of water level in Qinghai Lake is environmental factors. Firstly, the national strategic system of Tibetan medicine development, the strategic thinking of social and economic development in Qinghai Lake area and some new methods of biological resources investigation are put forward. Editor-in-chief or editor-in-chief published 9 research monographs, published more than 50 scientific research papers, and won 6 provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress awards.
