1932, born on may 29th, is a famous economist in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. He is the founder of quantitative economics and information economics in China. 1955 graduated from the Statistics Department of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. Before 1986, he worked in Institute of Economics and Institute of Quantitative Technical Economics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, from research intern to researcher (doctoral supervisor), and served as director of research office and director of research institute. During the period of 1980- 1982, he was a visiting scholar in the Department of Economics of the University of Pennsylvania, USA, and was the first economist in China to participate in the Link project of the world economic forecasting model.
