Brief introduction of Nanchang porcelain painter
In the early folk life, Liang Dunshi, a native of Nanchang, opened Lizexuan Porcelain Village in the prosperous section of Zhongshan Road, and hired painters to draw portraits and pastel porcelain according to customers' requirements, which pioneered the development of porcelain plate painting in Nanchang. Driven by Liang Dunshi, the China Porcelain Workshop in West Street and the Lu Xiao Porcelain Museum in Zigu Road appeared one after another. At the same time, a number of ceramic painters such as Yang Houxing, Guan Yueshan, Liang and Huang were born.

After the founding of New China, with the government's attention and care, porcelain artists successively set up Nanchang Porcelain Painting Cooperation Group, Nanchang Porcelain Craft Society and Nanchang Arts and Crafts Factory. Since the 1940s, Nanchang porcelain painting has gone abroad, covering Southeast Asia. After the reform and opening up, Hong Kong photographer Qiu Yongping and Nanchang porcelain artists jointly created a large number of exquisite porcelain paintings, which pushed Nanchang porcelain paintings to all countries in the world. Artists from Japan, Australia and other countries also came to Chang to study the art of porcelain painting, which established the position of Nanchang porcelain painting in the world art history.
