The overall positioning is "Northern Landscape New Town of Panlong" to strive to build the "most Kunming" new city with the first ecological environment construction, a new city with high-end industrial projects and a modern city. At the same time, there are many cultural protection units in Shanshui New Town, such as songhua dam, Longchuan Bridge, Longquan Ancient Street, Feng Youlan's former residence, Liang Sicheng's former residence and Lin's former residence, which are particularly rich in historical and cultural landscape.
