School of Environment and Water Conservancy of Zhengzhou University, formerly known as Water Conservancy Department of Zhengzhou Institute of Technology, was established in 1959. 1986, the undergraduate environmental engineering major was renamed the Department of Water Environment after enrollment. Zhengzhou Institute of Technology 1996 was renamed as Zhengzhou University of Technology, and our institute was renamed as College of Water Conservancy and Environmental Engineering.
