1959 Graduated from Shijiazhuang No.1 Middle School, admitted to the Engineering Department of Harbin Institute of Military Engineering, and then transferred to the Mine Blasting Engineering Department of Xi 'an Institute of Engineering. 1964 after graduation, he was assigned to a certain department of the PLA General Armament Department to engage in scientific research.
