In order to avoid misinterpreting people's confusion about Tantric Buddhism's "Infinite Life Buddha" and "Infinite Life Blessing", later Taoism unified the last four words of "Infinite Life Buddha" as the holy name forever.
"Infinite" means "infinitely many, infinitely many", and "infinitely many gods" and "countless gods" are not the name of a god at all, which cannot reflect the blessing of Taoism to believers, which is obviously inappropriate.
It's totally unrealistic to do the opposite, so adding the word "Fu Sheng" in front of it becomes "Blessed by Infinite Buddha", which can be interpreted as "Blessed by Infinite Buddha". This not only takes care of the habits of the public, but also reflects the good wishes of Taoist friends when greeting, which can be said to be the best of both worlds.
