What does Ling Yunmu mean?
"Lingyunmu" refers to a pillar, which comes from Komatsu by Du Xunhe in the Tang Dynasty: "At that time, people didn't know Lingyunmu, and they waited for Lingyun to get high." People in the world don't know that this is a tree that can soar in the future, and they won't admit its greatness until it has soared.

Whole poem: I grew up in the grass, and now I gradually feel wormwood. Those trees that don't recognize that they can soar into the sky, until it enters the sky, people say it is tall.

There are two "Lingyun" here, the former refers to Komatsu and the latter refers to Dasong. It is a fact that big pine trees are flying in the clouds. Praising its height doesn't mean it has a vision, and it doesn't make much sense. Komatsu is still young and plain as grass. It is insightful and meaningful to recognize it as a "spiritual wood", cherish it and cultivate it.
