Formerly known as Yang Zonggui (19 17 ~ 1947), he was born in Buhe Village, Ninghai Town, Mu Ping City, Shandong Province. In 34 years of the Republic of China (1945), he joined the Eighth Route Army and served as a soldier, squad leader and regiment reconnaissance platoon leader.

18 (1929), the Yang Zirong family moved to Anton to make a living. Yang Zirong, 12 years old, works as a child laborer in a private silk reeling factory in Anton. After the September 18th Incident, Yang Zirong's father fell ill and died when the Japanese invaded Anton. Mother led her two sisters back to their hometown in Shandong, leaving him to continue to make a living in Anton. Four years later, he worked as a boatman in the Yalu River with his fellow villagers, and went against the current. Later, he was arrested by the Japanese army as a laborer, exiled to the mountains to mine, and lived a life inferior to that of cattle and horses. He has tasted human sufferings and conquered people, and made many friends who share weal and woe. In 32 years of the Republic of China (1943), he could not bear to be bullied by foreigners, took the lead in beating the foreman who served foreigners, and ran back to his hometown in Shandong from the northeast.

After returning home, he secretly joined the militia and actively participated in the anti-Japanese struggle. In August of the thirty-fourth year of the Republic of China (1945), he participated in the battle of the Eighth Route Army to liberate Mupingcheng. In the autumn of the same year, 29-year-old Yang Zirong signed up for the Eighth Route Army and joined the Jiaodong naval detachment. 10 in late June, Jiaodong naval detachment went to Mudanjiang to suppress bandits. 1 10 in June, Yang Zirong joined China. Yang Zirong was rated as a model of collective combat. After a large number of bandits were annihilated, a few remaining bandits fled in the deep mountains and forests. The head of the army set up an armed reconnaissance unit (regiment reconnaissance platoon) to eliminate the remnants of bandits. Yang Zirong is the monitor. He is familiar with the local situation and has the ability to command and fight independently. After the formation of the team, the so-called Xujia Four Tigers (Xu Fu, Xu Zhen and Xu Xiang) were captured alive first, and the nine tigers such as Lin and others were eliminated. Later, Yang Zirong led four soldiers, disguised as enemies, and went deep into the snowfield near the sea to learn about the enemy. On the evening of February 6th, 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), he broke into the tiger's den alone, cooperated with the outside, and captured "Zuo Shan Diao", the security brigade commander and bandit leader of the Kuomintang, alive in Mudanjiang area. The Northeast Military Region awarded Yang Zirong the third class merit and awarded him the honorary title of "Super Reconnaissance Hero".

On February 23rd of the same year, Yang Zirong was shot dead while chasing stubborn bandits Zheng Sanpao and Liu Huanzhang, at the age of 365,438+0. The investigation platoon led by Yang Zirong was named "Yang Zirong platoon". The remains of martyrs were buried in Hailin Martyrs Cemetery. In April, 198 1, Yang Zirong Memorial Hall was built in Hailin County.
