I think college students should take part in more group activities or volunteers during the winter vacation, and also find some odd jobs. In any case, they should contact the society and all kinds of people to increase their reading ability and the way of dealing with others. This is very beneficial to my future work and achievements. Don't stay at home during the winter vacation, let alone drink with friends. This will not help me at all except damaging my health.
So I suggest that college students, not only freshmen, sophomores and juniors, can do social practice, master interpersonal relationships in practice, and know how to do what they can in practice.
1. I want to get a job directly, learn some practical skills and prepare for textual research (computer level 2, securities qualification certificate and so on). If you can find an internship in a company, that's the best, and writing it on your resume will add points. Of course, if you have a job you like, you'd better set a career goal and try to find an internship in a direction related to your favorite job.
If you want to take the postgraduate entrance examination or continue to take the postgraduate entrance examination, you can use your vacation to learn professional knowledge and English.
Learn about the postgraduate entrance examination and postgraduate insurance in our school and compare the enrollment situation.
If you have solid professional knowledge, you can contact a professional teacher and see if you can ask the teacher to guide you in writing your thesis.
3. Want to go abroad, learn about foreign universities, consult seniors and sisters, learn foreign languages, prepare for IELTS, TOEFL, GRE and so on.
There are too many things to prepare for going abroad, so you must start as soon as possible, and it is also important to maintain your grade point.
If you haven't set your future goals, learning English is the best. No matter what you do in the future, English is always very important. Use the holiday to recite words, watch some English dramas and American dramas, practice oral English with some English apps, sign up for a class, brush the real questions of CET-4 and CET-6, and so on.
5. You can also find out what competitions are suitable for your registration and get ready. Winning experience can not only add points to your resume, but also the process of preparing and experiencing the competition is a valuable asset in life.
