Dr Wang Guorong is a famous psychologist and psychotherapist. He is currently the head and professor of psychology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the former chairman of the Hong Kong Psychotherapists Association. 65438-0974 obtained a doctorate in psychology in Britain, and then returned to Hong Kong to work in psychology.

Dr Wang Guorong's research fields include cross-cultural psychology, emotional regulation and psychotherapy. He has published a large number of papers in these fields and delivered speeches at many international conferences. Also often invited by the media to do expert review and write columns.

In addition, Dr. Wang Guorong is the author of two books, Regeneration and Emotional Wisdom, which are regarded as milestones of psychological self-help books. His contribution has been widely recognized, and he has won many awards, including the Outstanding Practice Award of the American Psychological Association and the Outstanding Alumni Award of the University of Hong Kong.

Dr Wang Guorong's research interests include clinical psychology, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, experimental psychology, psychological cognition and cognitive function. More than 50 papers have been published at home and abroad, including more than 20 papers retrieved by SCI/SSCI/EI, 3 monographs, 4 textbooks and 4 translations. Received more than 10 from National Natural Science Foundation, Youth Science Foundation and Hunan Natural Science Foundation.

He was invited to have an in-depth exchange with international scholars on psychological research, and was elected as a member of "Youth Innovation Promotion Association" of China Academy of Sciences, and served as a member of the Standing Committee of Hunan Psychological Society and a director of psychoanalysis organization.
