Examination of great figures on Wednesday
Zhou Sanwei is an unimportant historical figure in the whole history of Southern Song Dynasty. There are only simple fragments of his life story, and it is even difficult to sketch out a complete resume. But because it is related to the unjust imprisonment of the famous national hero Yue Fei, it is no stranger.

In the biography of Yue Quan, the book "Investigating unjust prison is afraid of hanging the crown on Wednesday" describes that Wednesday is afraid of refusing to "investigate Yue Fei" and would rather "abandon this official position, hide its name and harm its whole body". This is still an image of integrity; In the newly edited historical drama Man Jiang Hong after liberation, the positive image of Wednesday's fear has been greatly improved. As an upright judge, he fought side by side with Wan Sixie, Luo Rukun and others, and "imprisoned Marshal Yue". In Niu Hao's plays, he is also an imperial envoy who persuades Niu Hao and others to "forget personal interests for the country".

However, the artistic image of Wednesday as a positive figure in operas and novels is quite different from the real historical image.

Song Ting held a so-called prison summons for Yue Fei, which lasted for two and a half months from October 13th to December 29th in the 11th year of Shaoxing (AD11). At the beginning of Yue Fei's imprisonment, Song Ting ordered Cheng and Da Liqing to be afraid of him on Wednesday. More than a month later, Song Ting released that "Zhu filled in a bachelor's degree in Ming Dynasty in the imperial history, signed a book in the Privy Council, filled in a large sum of money to thank the ambassador, and worked as a doctor in the imperial history". This important personnel change actually means that the presiding officer of the prison will change hands. Therefore, in two and a half months' imprisonment, Zhu He and Wan Sixie were presiding judges, while vice presiding judge Zhou Sanwei never replaced them.

He Zhu, Wan Sixie and Luo Ruzhen are all followers of Qin Gui, but their roles and performances in Yue Fei's unjust imprisonment are different. Luo Ru, who is willing to be an eagle dog, participated in the impeachment of Yue Fei, impeached Yue Fei's aides Zhu Chu, Li and others, and impeached Dali Temple Ruopu (Li's younger brother) and He Yanyou. They opposed unjust imprisonment, but did not participate in the trial and sentencing of the prison authorities. In some novels and operas, Luo Ruyun also became an interrogator, which is different from historical facts. He Zhu also participated in the impeachment of Yue Fei. However, during his trial, he was deeply moved by the words "faithfully serving the country" written by Yue Fei backstab, and turned to argue that Yue Fei was innocent and dared to confront Qin Gui. 1 1 February 2 1 day, Song Ting announced that he was the new ruling minister. In fact, it was a pie in the sky. He Zhu was transferred from the key post of imperial edict supervisor in order not to get in the way. After taking over as the imperial adviser, he completely ended the unjust imprisonment according to his master's wishes.

Yue Fei was killed and the ruling minister He Zhu was impeached. One of his charges was that "Yue Fei was exposed and threw himself into the first prison in Dong Qi without telling him a word", "delayed passers-by, held a secret meeting to delay Yue Fei's death" and was dismissed from office. Xue Renfu was described as "unfaithful and capricious" and was therefore removed from office. Luo Ruyun impeached Li Ruofu and He Yanyou, saying: "It is more than a responsibility for court officials to die for flying crimes when they called the temple (Dali Temple) together. Only two people were dumbfounded, trying to create public opinion and being lenient. " Also released; At the same time, in the 12th year of Shaoxing (A.D. 1 142), on the 14th day of the first month, "Wan Cheng's four evils and Dali Qing in the suggestion were afraid to be in cahoots with Yue Fei on Wednesday". Wan Sixie was promoted to assistant minister of punishments on Wednesday, and later to minister of punishments. The rewards and punishments of the two kinds of people are in sharp contrast. According to the promotion record after Yue Fei's death on Wednesday, Li Xinchuan, a historian of the Southern Song Dynasty, once questioned the so-called "Do you cherish Dali Qing?" He said: "This language may not exist, but it needs to be investigated in detail."

In March of the 20th year of Shaoxing (AD 1 150), Zhou Weiwei, who was appointed as the magistrate of Pingjiang, was also impeached for other things. Cao Jun, an imperial envoy, listed the charges and said, "Sanwei is a big official in Dali and hesitated for half a year." When the situation was bad on Wednesday, it was naturally an opportunity for treacherous villains to hit people when they were down, in order to promote themselves and make a fortune. The so-called "hesitation for half a year" is actually an attempt to aggravate the crime and cannot stand serious scrutiny. First, Yue Fei's unjust imprisonment lasted for two and a half months, less than half a year. Second, unjust imprisonment was postponed for two and a half months, mainly because of Luo Zhi's "trumped-up" charges, which was extremely laborious. Zhu He's objection extended the closing time. To say the least, as the deputy presiding judge, I was afraid that even if I stood up against unjust imprisonment on Wednesday, it would not have much impact on the delay in closing the case. When we try our best to search for the name of Wednesday's fear of sin, we can only use such false words as "hesitating for half a year", which does not expose the language "Do you cherish Da Liqing", but it is enough to prove what role Wednesday's fear of sin plays in this unjust prison.
