Kenning was coached by American coach Rick Mackey from the age of 5 until she was 12 years old. Kenning received tennis training at Rick Mackey Tennis Academy in Florida, USA.
At the age of six, Kenning appeared on the cover of ADDvantage Tennis Magazine.
At the age of 7, Kenning began to participate in the USTA (American Tennis Association) 10 tennis tournament; At the age of seven, Kenning won the first place in the G 10 group in Florida.
