In 2000, he studied in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in operational research, and received his doctorate1July 1989–1September 1996. He is a teaching assistant and lecturer in the School of Software, Beihang University.
From June 2000 to 2002 10, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Information and Communication, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
From March 2002 to June 2003, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Since July 2003, he has been an associate researcher at the Research Center for Intelligent and Network Systems, Department of Automation, Tsinghua University.
