Longhua Temple

Longhua Temple is the oldest, largest and most magnificent Buddhist temple in Shanghai. According to legend, it was built in 247 AD (during the Red Wu Period of the Three Kingdoms) and is now a religious tourist attraction, including ancient temples, ancient pagodas, Longhua Temple Fair and Longhua Night Bell. Longhua Temple is clean and tidy, and the Galand Seven Halls system of Zen Buddhism in Song Dynasty keeps its original appearance, including books, gold seals and Buddha statues from Tang Dynasty, Five Dynasties and Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Confucian temple

Jiading Confucius Temple was built in 12 19, and it is known as "the first in Wuzhong". There is an exhibition hall of Chinese imperial examination system in the temple. The three archways of "cultivating talents", "promoting sages" and "rising high" represent cultivating talents, selecting talents and worshiping Confucius respectively. "Danghu Academy" is the most complete existing ancient academy building in Shanghai, with a history of more than 270 years. The stele gallery of Confucius Temple also contains the large-character stele of Zhu, a famous philosopher and educator in the Song Dynasty, and the book-trace stone carvings known as the "Four Masters of Jiading", which have high artistic value.

Zhujiajiao

Zhujiajiao, known as "Venice of Shanghai", is the best preserved ancient water town in the south of the Yangtze River in Shanghai. Zhujiajiao had a village market as early as 1700 years ago during the Three Kingdoms period, and it became a bustling market town with merchants and fireworks in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. We can still see the quaint streets, buildings and customs of Zeguo in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Zhujiajiao Town is famous for its quaint Jiangnan water town. Stepping on the winding stone road, winding between narrow street shops; Bridges and flowing water, Ming and Qing dwellings and awning boats appear in front of us alternately; There are willows and stone bridges on the shore, just like a rainbow lying across the Dianpu River. The first congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is located at No.76-78 Xingye Road, the birthplace of China, which belongs to the national key cultural relics protection unit.
