Tang Chongrong was deeply influenced by the Christian God. Tang Chongrong is a famous Christian missionary and theologian in China, and vice chairman of the World Chinese Evangelical Ministry Liaison Center. One of the four servants of the Tang family, the other three brothers are Pastor Tang Chongping, Pastor Tang Chongming and Pastor Tang Chonghuai. Tang Chongrong, a native of Fujian, China, an Indonesian, now lives in Jakarta.
