The history of the School of Electronic Engineering of Chengdu University of Information Science and Technology can be traced back to 1978, which was developed on the basis of the former Department of Atmospheric Exploration and the Department of Electronics of Chengdu Institute of Meteorology. In particular, the national defense student team of the college actively responded to the call of the school and quickly put into earthquake relief activities. After several years of construction, we have signed cooperation agreements with more than 30 enterprises and institutions, and established the "Chengdu University of Information Technology Student Internship Base" in the cooperative units. At the same time, the employment rate of college graduates has always been high because the professional setting of the college meets the needs of society and the graduates have strong professional quality and innovative practice ability. The employment remuneration of graduates is higher than the average level of graduates in the same period. The undergraduate employment rate of Electronic Engineering College was 96.5% in 2005, 98.6% in 2006 and 94.5% in 2007.
