This city is one of the main commodity grain bases in Liaoning Province. The main crops are rice, sorghum and corn. It is one of the key rice producing areas in Liaoning Province, with excellent rice quality. "Jin Feng No.1" is a national first-class rice, which enjoys a good reputation all over the country and sells well at home and abroad. Cash crops include cotton, oilseeds and peanuts. Tussah is stocked in hilly areas in central China to develop forestry and fruit industry. Its varieties are apples, pears, peaches, apricots, plums, chestnuts and hawthorn. Dashiqiao city is one of the main producing areas of tussah in Liaoning Province, with nearly 400,000 mu of tussah resources, mainly distributed in the eastern mountainous areas. It has the largest production base of refractories in China, 4 ultra-high temperature tunnel kilns in Hada Road, dashiqiao city, with the longest highest sintering temperature of 1850 degrees in China, 24 light-burned magnesia kilns and 20 heavy-burned magnesia kilns, with an annual output of 600,000 tons of various magnesia refractories. The deep processing capacity and actual level of magnesia products rank first in China. The fused magnesia-chrome brick, high-purity magnesia-alumina-chrome brick and AOD furnace magnesia-calcium brick have completely replaced imported similar products, and have been exported to China's steel, nonferrous metallurgy, glass, machinery manufacturing and other industries, as well as to more than 40 countries and regions such as Japan, the United States, South Korea, Russia, Southeast Asia and Europe.

There is a world-leading manufacturer of coated granular magnesium desulfurizer, which exclusively introduces Ukrainian coated granular magnesium production technology and some key equipment. The experimental results show that the coated granular magnesium produced by Dashiqiao is far superior to the imported cut magnesium powder, which ends China's long-term dependence on high-priced imports of this product, reduces the sulfur content index of China's iron and steel enterprises from seven thousandths to less than one thousandth, solves the main problem that has long plagued China to become a steel power, and will surely set off a new technological revolution in China's iron and steel industry. At present, Canadian and South Korean steel enterprises have begun to pay attention to China Magnesium Capital Dashiqiao. Dashiqiao also has a leading domestic refractory production enterprise for continuous casting. Refractory for continuous casting is a high-tech product widely used by iron and steel enterprises in the world today, which is helpful to reduce steelmaking cost and improve steel yield, but it has been blank in China for many years. Last year, the continuous casting "three-piece set" refractories (rotating water brick, submerged nozzle brick and integral stopper) produced here replaced imported products, which increased the steelmaking and continuous casting ratio in China from 60% to over 90%, reaching the average level of advanced foreign countries.
