Chizhou, referred to as "Chi" for short, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province in People's Republic of China (PRC), located in the southwest of Anhui Province. By 2022, it will administer three counties in 1 district, with a territory area of 8,399 square kilometers and a permanent population of 1.328 million.
Chizhou City is located in the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with Huangshan Mountain in the south, low in the northwest and high in the southeast, and has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons.
