Researcher of China Institute of International Studies, 1992 was admitted to graduate department, Academy of Military Sciences of PLA, and graduated with a master's degree in 1995. He stayed in Academy of Military Sciences as editor-in-chief of Foreign Military Art, and later served as editor-in-chief. He served in the South China Sea Fleet and the North China Sea Fleet. 1998- 1999 received a Chevening Scholarship from the British government, and studied South Asian politics and economy at London University with a master's degree. In September 2004, he was transferred to China Institute of International Studies, and in 2006, he received a doctorate in international relations from Peking University. Deputy Secretary-General of China Arms Control and Disarmament Association, Director of Research Department and Director of China South Asia Society. In 2009, he was appointed as a researcher. 20 13 has been the director of the American Studies Department, the director of the American Institute of China Institute of International Studies, and the director of the Center for Arms Control and International Security Studies, enjoying the special government allowance granted by the State Council.
