A branch centered on Jianning, Fujian, was spread to the south by its disciples Xiong Daohui, Peng, Zeng Guikuan, Zhao, Liu Yuanran, Shao Yizheng and Yu Daochun. His disciples later served as deacons in the Chaotian Palace in Nanjing.
One spread northward around Wudang Mountain in Hubei Province, passed through disciples Zhang Daogui, Ye and Liu, and then spread to Zhang Biao and Peng Tongwei. This sect is really a Taoist and a practitioner of subtle methods.
Huang Shunshen is not only the main successor of the method of clearing micro-thunder at the end of Song Dynasty and the beginning of Yuan Dynasty, but also the master of the method of clearing micro-thunder and its theory. Cai Chen's "Preface to Wei Qing and Pu Xian" said: Huang Shunshen "thought about his writing and expounded his purpose, but the book was well prepared." Zhang Yuchu's Ten Rules of Doors also said: "He is a descendant of Wei () and Zu (Shu), and Zhu (), Li (), Nan (Bi Dao) and Huang (Shun Shen) are all teachers, which are still flourishing today. Wherever Zhang Fu fasted through the Taoist scriptures, his speed exceeded that of Huang (Shun).
