Military works: From 1939 to 194 1, Zuo Quan wrote more than 40 articles, such as Persisting in the War of Resistance in North China, Ambush Tactics, Offensive Tactics, Tactical Problems, and Principles of Military Thought. In addition, 1942, translated by Zuo Quan and Liu Bocheng, was listed as the basic textbook of infantry tactical education by the Eighth Route Army General Command.
In directing military operations: In the third stage of Hundred Regiments War, Zuo Quan assisted Peng in directing the Battle of Guanjia 'nao, and defeated the Okazaki Brigade of the 36th Japanese Division, with a total of more than 500 men. Except for more than 60 men, all the others were wiped out. This campaign laid the foundation for the victory of Huangyan Cave in the future. Zuo Quan, one of the famous creators of guerrilla tactics in China, integrated the most advanced tactics of revolutionary era, civil war era and Soviet Red Army from 1925 to 1927. He persisted in the war of resistance behind enemy lines in North China and made immortal achievements.
