On some knitting machines, there are also methods of combining weft knitting with warp knitting. At this time, two groups of yarns are arranged on the knitting machine, one group is padded according to the warp knitting method, the other group is padded according to the weft knitting method, and the needles make the two groups of yarns form loops together to form a knitted fabric. The loops formed by the same yarn are arranged in the weft direction in the weft knitted fabric and in the warp knitted fabric.
