The protagonist Minnie (played by Li Xinjie) grew up in Hainan and is a descendant of educated youth, stubborn and optimistic. He received strict acrobatic training from childhood and became an excellent trapeze actor when he grew up. He is one of the protagonists of the Shanghai World Acrobatic Troupe. Because of her father's early death, her mother abandoned her and lived in her uncle's house, longing for the love that could bring her a soaring life. A Kang (played by Liu Ye) is a clerk in an audio-visual product store called "Go with the Flow".

Perhaps it is because his widowed mother was too strict with him since childhood. When he grew up, Kang was a rebellious person who despised social norms. Although Minnie and Kang live in different environments, they also live in an empty and confused spiritual world. An accidental meeting finally made them "go with the flow" together.
