How do students handle urban medical insurance?

Basic medical insurance for urban residents

1. Admission registration: students in school are registered by the school, and other urban residents are registered in their communities and towns.

To apply for insurance registration, I or my guardian must hold the resident ID card, the original and photocopy of the household registration book, and two 2-inch color bareheaded photos, fill in the registration form of the insured at the insurance registration unit, and collect fingerprint information on the spot. Low-income residents and severely disabled people also need to provide low-guarantee and disabled cards and copies.

After the insurance registration, the social security card will be uniformly issued by the labor and social security department for reporting payment, information inquiry, medical treatment, medical expense reimbursement and other matters.

2. Time and term of payment

Urban residents pay the basic medical insurance premium annually. Every year, 65438+1 October1to 65438+February 3 1 is a medical insurance year, and the fourth quarter of each year is the reporting payment period of the next medical insurance year. Urban residents shall register for insurance from the date of implementation of the basic medical insurance system, pay the basic medical insurance premium in full and continuously, and go through the formalities of insurance payment during the reporting period.
