The trunk is about 2 meters high and 8 meters thin, and it is cylindrical. If there are obvious diamond petiole remnants, it is spirally arranged. Feather leaves emerge from the top of the stem, the lower layer bends downward and the upper layer extends obliquely. All pinnate leaves are obovate in outline, narrowly lanceolate and 75-200 cm long. The cross section of the leaf shaft is square, the handle is slightly quadrangular, and there are toothed thorns on both sides, which extend horizontally or slightly obliquely, and the thorns are 2-3 mm long.
Pinnate lobes 100 pairs, strip-shaped, thick leathery and hard, 9- 18 cm long and 4-6 mm wide. They are slightly V-shaped upward, and the edges roll down obviously. The upper half is slightly narrow and the tip is prickly. The base is narrow and asymmetrical on both sides. The lower side grows downward, and the upper side is dark green and shiny.
