Event introduction
The World Swimming Championships is the highest-level international swimming event hosted by FINA, and the organizer is FINA. The first World Swimming Championships was held in 1973, and the interval years between 1978 and 1998 changed repeatedly. From 200 1, it will be held once every two years.
The World Swimming Championships originally scheduled to be held in Fukuoka, Japan in 20021was postponed to Budapest, Hungary in June 2022. On the evening of July 12, Beijing time, FINA officially announced that the 2024 World Swimming Championships will be held in Doha, Qatar from February 2 to 18. On February 9, 2023, FINA announced that Singapore would host the 2025 World Swimming Championships.

On July 4th, 2023, the 2023 World Swimming Championships kicked off in Fukuoka, Japan. In the women's 1 meter springboard preliminaries starting at 9: 00, China's Lin Shan and Li Yajie advanced to the final with 15: 14:30 respectively.
