Pdf screening resume
The company is hiring recently. I am responsible for the statistics of resume information and preliminary screening. I found that the resumes of these applicants are really shocking. I have seen so many friends who have stepped on thunder, and I intend to summarize the common thunder points when submitting electronic job resumes. Boys should pay attention to avoid it!

First, the subject name and sender of the email.

Many candidates do not write the subject name of the email when submitting their resumes and other registration materials by email, and the sender's name is also random. The sender's name of the email I received a few days ago is Martian, Sanfen, and he is also a distinctive "2B youth".

The above picture shows the inbox page of PC-side mail. The first message HR sees when screening resumes is the name of the sender and the subject of the email.

Failure to write an email subject may be regarded as spam or other promotional emails.

Suggestion: The sender's name should be personal, and the subject of the email should be "Apply for XX Company +XX Position+Name".

Second, send mail format

General employers have clear requirements on the format of application materials such as resumes when releasing recruitment information. Small partners must carefully read the requirements in the recruitment information.

(1) If there is no clear requirement, please pay attention to your friends and don't send your resume in picture format.

Suggestion: Use WORD or PDF format.

Some employers will set up a talent pool. No matter what method is adopted, information input is always indispensable, and the picture format is really inconvenient.

(2) Don't write your resume on the body page of the email, so HR can't save your resume directly.

(3) Don't use photos or oversized attachments when submitting resumes or professional-related qualification certificates (unless ordinary attachments can't be sent out).

Suggestion: Resume should be in word format, and electronic versions of various certificates should be in PDF format, and sent with attachments.

Third, don't send emails repeatedly.

Some friends may be worried about the failure of email sending, or need to modify the content of the first email, and so on. And will send emails repeatedly, which will really disgust HR who sends emails repeatedly.

Suggestion:

(1) The email shows that it was sent successfully. As long as the email code number is correct, there is basically no case of not receiving the email. I'm really worried. I can call and ask if the employer has received the mail.

Alternatively, you can check whether you need a receipt when sending an email. Some HR may send a receipt after receiving the email.

Some employers also set up automatic replies. If the email is sent successfully, we can receive a reply email.

(2) If the information in the first email needs to be modified, if the first email can be withdrawn, the email will be withdrawn.

If it cannot be withdrawn, at least on the subject of the email sent later, a descriptive text similar to "This registration information shall prevail" will be indicated.

Due to the time, today, let's summarize the above points and the matters needing attention when submitting application materials by mail. Tomorrow I will summarize the points that should be paid attention to in my resume.
