1997.02- 1997.07, as the first batch of trainers of Chinese mainland scientific drilling project, went to Potsdam National Geological Science Center to study the testing technology of rock physical properties in continental scientific drilling project; Go to Kiel University in Germany to carry out experimental research on rock physics.
1998.09- 1999.04 As a visiting scholar, he went to Potsdam National Geoscience Center in Germany to conduct experimental research on petrology and petrophysics.
From 2000 to 2002, he did postdoctoral research in the Institute of Geology, Seismological Bureau of China, and stayed in the Institute after leaving the station.
