He joined Huawei in March 2005 and served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Huawei Company until the end of 20 14. Committed to in-depth study of Huawei culture and Huawei core values, explaining Huawei culture and Huawei core values to employees and cadres within Huawei and to various customers.

Before joining Huawei, he was a professor in the Department of Physics of the Chinese University of Science and Technology and served as the vice president of the graduate school for 7 years. He has been engaged in the research and teaching of plasma physics and controlled nuclear fusion for a long time, and has published many academic papers and three professional works, among which "Principles of Nuclear Fusion" is still one of the required reference books designated by the annual doctoral examination in China.

1983 was selected by the state to be a visiting scholar at the University of Wisconsin in the United States for nearly 3 years; 1995 went to Dutch academy of sciences as a visiting professor and cooperated in research for one and a half years.
