Resume of Ambassador Zhang Chunxiang to Pakistan
Zhang Chunxiang, China's ambassador to Pakistan, is 54 years old. 1968 joined the army, 1970 went to Peking University to study urdu, 1974 went to Pakistan to participate in the construction of karakoram highway after graduation and served as the liaison officer of the highway construction headquarters. 1979 was transferred to the embassy of China in Pakistan, 1987 was the consul of the consulate general of China in Karachi, 1995 was the political counselor of the embassy of China in Pakistan, and 1999 was the consul general of China in Houston. In April 2002, he became China's ambassador to Pakistan.
