Sun Jingquan, (1940—), a native of Yuncheng, Shandong Province, once lived in Liangshan and now lives in Jinan. He used to be the curator of Liangshan Cultural Center, and now he is a national first-class artist, professor, director of China Mural Society, deputy secretary-general of China Shuihu Society, president of Shuihu Painting Academy and senior painter of Shandong Painting Academy. Member of China Artists Association.

He is good at Chinese painting, murals and calligraphy. His works have participated in many art exhibitions at home and abroad and won prizes or been collected, which has a bright future in the art market. The Chinese painting "Xiangma" won the Shandong Excellence Award; The ink painting "Drunk" won the "Maple Leaf Award" at the Canadian International Ink Painting Exhibition; The Chinese painting "Tian" won the "Silver Award" at the Hong Kong International Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition; The ink painting "Gao Jie Map" won the "Gold Award" in the contemporary international famous ink painting exhibition in Thailand; Enamel mural "Liangshan Hero Map" 100㎡, acrylic mural "Mountain Soul" 66㎡, color-engraved mural "Wu Soul" 76㎡, and large-scale tri-color mural "Shui Bo Heroes Gathering Righteousness Map" 128㎡ were well received. Among them, the mural "Shui Bo Heroes Gathering Righteousness" cooperated with Professor Zhang Yimin to participate in the national art exhibition and won the "Excellence Award".

Calligraphy works have been collected and published by museums, memorial halls and inscriptions in Henan, Jiangsu, Nanjing, Hunan and Liangshan, Shandong. Hundreds of single and eight groups of sculptures won the "Best Design Award", and Mr. Liu Kaiqu, a master sculptor, once wrote an inscription "vigorous and magical". He has published three picture books, and his masterpiece "Water Margin" has been reprinted by the national "Excellence Award" for many times. He has participated in "China Art Exhibition", "International Book Fair" and cultural and artistic exchange activities between China and foreign countries in Hongkong, Japan, Singapore and South Korea.
