197 1 After graduating from Harvard University, I worked in the artificial intelligence laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and later established the Free Software Foundation. He first became interested in computers in 1969, IBM new york Science and Technology Center, when 16 years old. Later, after quitting his job in Massachusetts, Stroman stayed in an independent research room in Massachusetts to do research, where he developed a brand-new operating system called gnu, for which he won the MacArthur Genius Award of $240,000 named after John D.MacArthur, the founder of Bank Life Disaster Company.

From 65438 to the mid-1990s, stroman spent most of his time as a political activist, defending free software and opposing the expansion of software patents and copyright laws. His contribution to programming is still focused on GNU Emacs. About half of his speeches are paid, which enables him to support himself.
