Tan Yuanyuan, born in Shanghai, was admitted to Shanghai Ballet School at the age of1/kloc-0. Her ballet dancing attainments can be regarded as a myth in the ballet world, and her superb ballet skills shocked the world: she was the only China woman who was the heroine of the San Francisco Ballet, one of the three major American ballet companies, and the first Asian to participate in the Czech Lager World Star Show.
