/kloc-born in March, 1957, graduated from Minzu University of China with a bachelor's degree in Yi ancient books, and was a delegate to the 12th National People's Congress (Guizhou delegation). A famous expert in Yi language, who grew up in the cultural environment of Yi people, graduated from Yi language major class of Central University for Nationalities, and 1986 was transferred to Bijie Yi language translation group from Weining County Ethnic Affairs Committee. Since 18 years, Wang Jichao has compiled and published more than 30 academic translations of Yi literature of nearly130,000 words, such as Origin of Yi, Bibliography of Yi Ancient Books, Records of Southwest Yi and Bibliography of Yi Literature, showing people the long history of Yi civilization in China.
