Sun Erlin was born in a paper-cutting family in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. Influenced by her family since childhood, she has an indissoluble bond with the art of paper-cutting. Her paper-cut works have won many gold and silver prizes in domestic and international competitions, and some of her works have been collected by China Art Museum, China Museum and Japanese Art Museum. Invited to Japan, Singapore, Luxembourg, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, the United States, Spain, Germany and other countries for paper-cutting art exchange activities.
In the past ten years, her paper-cut works have won many awards in various competitions, among which "Celebrating the Return" won the second prize; "Er Lin and Mom" won the silver prize; "Sitting in the Cloud Pattern" won the silver award; "beaming" won the gold medal.
In 2002, he participated in the paper-cut exhibition held by China Art Museum and won the first prize.
In 2003, he was invited to participate in the World Horticultural Exposition in Germany and won the collective gold medal.
In 2004, he participated in the second China Charm Paper-cut Art Exhibition, and his paper-cut works won the gold medal. Participated in Nanjing "International Paper-cut Art Exhibition" and won the gold medal.
In 2008, at the invitation of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, he participated in the "Chinese National Handicraft Art Exhibition" of the 29th Olympic Games and performed paper-cutting art performances for athletes from all over the world and the Olympic Games.
