Lin Song's personal data
Born in 1930, a professor at Minzu University of China, an outstanding Muslim scholar in modern China, a native of Shadian Village, Gejiu City, Yunnan Province, and a Hui nationality. Mr Yahya Sa Naber Song Lin studied in Zheng Yang School in Shadian before liberation. He studied under the famous Muslim scholars Ma Jian, Professor Bai Shouyi and Imam Hacheng. He came to Beijing to work in the early 1950s. 1975 transferred to Beijing Normal University to participate in the compilation of General History of China edited by Bai Shouyi, and 1979 transferred to Chinese Department of Central University for Nationalities. As the director, professor and tutor of master students in the teaching and research section of classical literature, he enjoyed the special government allowance of the State Council from 65438 to 0992 because of his contribution to higher ethnic education.

Professor Lin Song comes from a family of Haji (a Muslim who made a pilgrimage to Mecca). His father Lin Xinghua and his uncle Lin Xingzhi were both international students at Azhar University in the early 1930s. Influenced by the environment and family, he has a strong interest in Islamic academic culture. Therefore, in addition to teaching classical literature studies and related majors in the Chinese Department, the research project also takes into account the research on Muslim history, Islamic culture and other topics, focusing on this, and even offering special lectures in ethnology and philosophy departments across departments and disciplines, or recruiting graduate students.
