Shanxi Province is the provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC), which is named after Taiyuan, the provincial capital, because it is located to the west of Taihang Mountain. Jinchaji, also known as Jinchaji Border Region, is one of the anti-Japanese base areas behind enemy lines led by China in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
