Graduated from the Department of Religious Studies of the School of Philosophy of Wuhan University, and then engaged in postdoctoral research in the Department of Philosophy of Peking University. He has visited the Scholars' Philosophy Research Center of Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan and related research institutions in Europe and America, mainly teaching courses such as western philosophy, medieval philosophy, ethics and religion. Now he works in the Western Philosophy Research Office of the Institute of Philosophy, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His research interests are: comparative study of western medieval philosophy, Chinese and western philosophy and religious research.
