Baotu Spring in Jinan, Zhong Ling Spring in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, Tiger Running Spring in Hangzhou, Zhejiang and Huishan Spring in Wuxi, Jiangsu are also called "the four famous springs in China".

1, Baotu Spring, Jinan

Baotu Spring is located in Lixia District, Jinan City, with Qianfo Mountain in the south, quancheng square in the east, Daming Lake and Wulongtan in the north. Covering an area of 158 mu, it is a national AAAAA-level scenic spot and the first batch of national key parks with spring water as the main characteristic garden. This spring is the first of 72 springs in Jinan, and is known as "the first spring in the world". It is also the first spring in Jinan in ancient literature.

Baotu Spring is the symbol and symbol of the spring city of Jinan, and it is also called the three major scenic spots in Jinan together with Qianfo Mountain and Daming Lake in Jinan. Baotu Spring ranks first among the "Seventy-two Springs" in Jinan. Known as "the first spring in the world".

2. Zhong Qingquan in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province

Zhong Lingquan is located at the foot of Shidan Mountain, west of Jinshan in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, also known as Zhong Ling Spring, Zhong Ling Spring, Zhong Ling Water and Nanling Water. According to Zhang's Record of Fried Tea in the Tang Dynasty, Liu Bozhou, a contemporary of Lu Yu, rated the water content of suitable tea as seven, calling it "zero water in the south of the Yangtze River is the first".

This South Zero Water refers to Zhong Ling Spring, which is said to be a clear spring deep in the river. The spring water is fragrant and sweet, the water is boiling and the scenery is spectacular. However, it is really difficult to get water from Zhong Ling Spring, so we have to cross the river by canoe. During the Tongzhi period of Qing Dynasty, with the northward movement of the main line of the Yangtze River, Jinshan was connected with the south bank of the Yangtze River, which eventually made Zhongqingquan a landscape on the south bank of the Yangtze River in Zhenjiang.

On the stone fence by the pool, there are five characters of "the first spring in the world", which were inscribed by Wang Renkan, a magistrate and calligrapher in Zhenjiang in Qing Dynasty. The pavilion next to the pool is a place where celebrities of all ages cooked springs and tasted tea, and the scenery remains the same.

3. Tiger Running Spring in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province

Hupao Spring is located in the side yard of Xiahui Temple (commonly known as Hupao Temple) in Baihefeng, Dacishan, southwest of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, about 5 kilometers away from the urban area. There is another interesting myth and legend about the origin of Tiger Running Spring. According to legend, in the 14th year of Tang Yuanhe (8 19), a monk named Huan Zhong (also known as Hangkong) came here and liked the beautiful scenery here, so he settled down.

Later, because there was no water nearby, he was going to move to another place. One night, he suddenly dreamed that the man of God told him, "There is a boy spring in Nanyue, and two tigers are going to send it here." The next day, he really saw two tigers running (planing) to make a crypt, and the clear spring water immediately gushed out, so he named it Tiger Running Spring. Zhang Yining also cast a religious and mysterious color on Hu Baoquan in his couplets on Spring.

4. Huishan Spring, Wuxi, Jiangsu

Huishan Spring is located near Huishan Temple in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, formerly known as Yilan Spring. According to legend, it was excavated by Jingcheng, the county magistrate of Wuxi in the Tang Dynasty. There are two pools, the upper pool is round and the lower pool is square, so it is also called Er Quan. Huishan Spring is a spring because it originates from an ice cave, and a trickle passes through the cracks in the rock stratum and gathers into an undercurrent. Therefore, the spring water is light and sweet, which is highly praised by tea people.

In the Tang Dynasty, assistant minister of punishments Liu and "tea god" Lu Yu both listed Huishan Spring as "the second spring in the world". Since then, celebrities and bachelors of all ages have used Huishan Spring as the fastest way to make tea.

In Tang Wuzong, Prime Minister Li Deyu set up a "water delivery station" (a special water delivery institution similar to a post station) to send Huishan Spring to Chang 'an thousands of miles away. Evonne and Song Huizong even listed Huishan Spring as a tribute, which was transported by Huaihe River and Zhejiang Road and paid a monthly tribute. ?
