Founded in 2002, Wuhan Institute of Technology and Business is the first batch of full-time undergraduate colleges approved by the Ministry of Education. 20 1 1 was renamed Wuhan Yangtze river technology and business university in April. In June of 20 13, it was included in the first batch of training units of Hubei province's innovation ability improvement plan (20 1 1 plan). On April 20 14, it was renamed Wuhan Industrial and Commercial College. 20 15 was selected as a pilot undergraduate college in Hubei province.
The school is located at the south gate of Wuhan, in the university town of Huangjiahu, adjacent to Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wuhan University of Science and Technology and other universities. The school has a building area of 827,000 ㎡ and an area of 329,000 ㎡, with a collection of books 1.30 1 0,000 paper books. It has perfect teaching, scientific research and logistics service facilities, complete experimental teaching center and library, and 1.68 off-campus practice base.

There are 7 14 full-time teachers, 36.8% are teachers with senior titles, 75.2% are teachers with master's and doctoral degrees, and 32.6% are "double-qualified" teachers.
