At the beginning of this year, Changli County of Hebei Province planned the development model of "innovative national park" and put forward the development goal of turning the area around Jieshi Mountain 102 square kilometers into Jieshi National Park.
In order to reshape the mountain landscape and ecosystem, Changli County has adopted the "PPP" model, cooperated with large enterprises, introduced international advanced technology, and carried out planning, design and in-depth transformation of this area.
"The overall concept of ecological restoration is to fully respect the natural environment of Jieshi Mountain, follow the basic laws of local biological succession and development, and use the follow-up power of nature to self-renew and reactivate the ecosystem." Shang Ping, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Changli County Land and Resources Bureau, said.
The restoration work is carried out according to the situation in different regions. For the mountain with 40-70 degrees, the hanging net spray seeding method is the main method, supplemented by step spray seeding, the plant growth foundation is constructed by artificial assistance, and the slope landscape is improved by the natural resilience of plants. For the mountain range from 10 to 40 degrees, the grass-roots ecosystem of the bottom vegetation is constructed by combining the net planting of textile materials with the green bag planting, which creates a good environment for the subsequent growth of native plants.
After several months of scientific and efficient construction, today, Changli County has completed the restoration of mountain mining damage in two areas, covering an area of 6.5438+0.6 million square meters, and eliminated 23 hidden dangers of mountain safety. The newly-built mine park covers an area of nearly 365,438+0,000 square meters, with more than 0/00 plants/kloc.
Guided by a timeline, Mine Park shows visitors the process of mine restoration through three-dimensional gardens, vertical greening, artistic sketches and mountain lantern shows. The park has also built the first national park knowledge museum in China to publicize and popularize national park knowledge to tourists.
The once devastated mine has now become a large-scale ecological park with lush vegetation. "Through these designs, not only the achievements of ecological restoration are displayed, but also tourists are always reminded that green mountains and green waters are hard to come by and should be cherished. We can no longer take the old road of predatory development, but should care for this green treasure like our own eyes. " Liu Xuebin, secretary of Changli County Party Committee, said.
Liu Xuebin said that what is currently under way is only the preliminary works of the restoration plan, and it will be further promoted in the future. The long-term goal is to build Jieshi National Park.
