Obtained a master's degree in philosophy abroad with the thesis "Hegel's Outlook on Development"; Received a doctorate in dialectical materialism with the thesis "On Truth and False". He is currently the Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Xi Jiaotong University, a researcher at the Value Theory Research Office of the Institute of Philosophy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, an adjunct professor at Nankai University, a director of the China Dialectical Materialism Research Association, a director of the All-China Society for the History of Foreign Philosophy, and a vice president of the Shaanxi Society of Value Philosophy.
