Duchang county is located in the north of Jiangxi Province, under Jiujiang City, near Poyang Lake, at the crossroads of "five rivers and one lake", in the center of the "Golden Triangle" of Nanchang, Jiujiang and Jingdezhen, with five rivers in the south and the Yangtze River in the north, which is the intersection of Hangrui Expressway, Jiujingqu Railway and Dujiu Expressway. The land area is 2669.5 square kilometers, of which the water area is 1390 square kilometers, accounting for 52. 1% of the land area, and it has the water area of Poyang Lake 1/3. The county has jurisdiction over 24 townships and 259 village committees, with a population of 826,600, including 2 towns along the lake, with a coastline of185km, accounting for110 of the whole coastline.
