Both articles introduced that Nezha was from Yibin. The article said that Huang Zhang, who once worshipped Nezha, came to Yibin in the 1990s and found one.

The second one: Jiangyou, Sichuan. People wrapped up Nezha, and there was a story about Nezha among Jiangyou people. Jiangyou's intangible cultural heritage list also contains stories and folk customs about Nezha.

The third one: Chentangzhuang, Tianjin, because Nezha's father Li Jing was stationed in Chentangguan, and Wu Cheng'en, the author of The Journey to the West, visited Tianjin many times. The staff of Tianjin Tourism Bureau said that the "Nezha Sports Festival" had been held in Hexi District of Tianjin.

Fourth: Nanyang City, Henan Province, for the same reason as Tianjin, is said to be the hometown of Chentangguan.

I don't think it's meaningful to compete for the hometown of Nezha, because Nezha himself is a fictional character in the novel, not a prototype of anyone. It doesn't matter where his hometown is for a mythical figure.
