A brief introduction to this wish
Sanskrit pu^rva-praN! idha^na。 An oath of "position" Full name Benhong vows. Make this oath and an ancient wish. That is, the vows initiated by Buddha and Bodhisattva to save all beings before they became Buddha fruits in the past. Because I made a wish because of my position, I got today's result, so I call this wish "fruit position" As the fundamental solution, "Ben" is called "Ben Yuan", although the Bodhisattva's heart is vast and her wish is boundless, but it is only based on this wish. In a broad sense, wishing is also called wishing. It is said that the Infinite Life Sutra is composed of five Yi works, ten Pipo sand scrolls and so on.

There are many kinds of original wishes of buddhas and bodhisattvas. For example, bodhisattvas are aware of bodhicitta, and they save all sentient beings with firm and grand vows, and they are called common wishes, such as the four vows and the twenty vows. If you live in pure land, each side purifies its land with ten methods to achieve all sentient beings, or wishes to become a Buddha in filthy land and save all sentient beings that are difficult to achieve. These wishes made according to the wishes of various bodhisattvas are called parting wishes, such as the forty-eight wishes of Amitabha (Buddha of Dharma) mentioned in Infinite Life Volume (Brahman made forty-six wishes, and some translations may have thirty-six or twenty-four wishes) and.

Another example is the five wishes mentioned in the six volumes of the Prajna Sutra, the twenty-nine wishes for dreams in the thirteen volumes of the Prajna Sutra, and the twenty wishes in the Buddhist Sutra. Others have a special desire to eliminate all kinds of diseases or exhaust all kinds of distress and terror, such as the twelve wishes mentioned in the original wish of the pharmacist Tathagata, the forty-four wishes mentioned in the original wish of the pharmacist Liu Qifo, and the sorrowful Guanyin Bodhisattva. There are also ten wishes of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra and ten deeds made by beginners and bodhisattvas in the old translation of Hua Yan Jing. Among them, the first wish now is called "only wish", which is different from the old wish initiated by the position.

Hui Yuan of Lushan divided Tommy's forty-eight wishes into three wishes: taking the dharma body, taking the pure land and taking all beings. The Master of Good Guidance explained that the eighteenth wish is that those who recite the name of Amitabha (Buddha) will get the wish of pure land death, that is, no matter how evil people are, they can be saved by this wish. Pure Land Sect regards the Eighteen Wishes as "Wang Ben Wishes". Among the forty-eight wishes, Kaizuqinluan, the pure land true Sect of Japan, divided the important eight wishes into true wishes and false wishes, that is, eleven, twelve, thirteen, seventeen, eighteen and twenty-six wishes are true, and nineteen and twenty-two wishes are false, which are called true and false eight wishes. At the same time, in the eighteenth wish, all living beings who swear to recite Buddha will not be enlightened (not become Buddha) if they cannot die, so the eighteenth wish is also called no oath.

In addition, as the object and object of this wish, people are called the actual machine of this wish or the positive machine of this wish, that is, the last generation of all beings in troubled times. The chanting I vowed to do is called my wish. He also praised Amitabha's original wish to gather merits, which saved Amitabha from eternal robbery because of his original wish to accumulate merits. [Sad Chinese Sutra Volume II, Hokkekyo Metaphorical Product, Great Amitabha Sutra Volume I, Generosity Volume XVII, Vanity Hidden Bodhisattva Product, Isosleep Sutra Volume I, Manjushri Bodhisattva Sutra, Tibetan Original Desire Sutra, All Liberation Theory, Past Life Notes, Past Life Ode, Enjoyment Collection, Selected Original Desire Buddha Collection] ((see: Vows) 5929.

This wish is 48 wishes. After the founding of Jing Zong, we studied Buddhism according to our own wishes. Look at our Jing Zong recitation, the morning class is to read forty-eight wishes, and the evening class is to remove karma. If the karma is not removed, it is decided not to live. Although this method is "born of taking a job", the ancient founder Dade said too much, "Take only the lodging industry, not the present industry." You can't take away the business you are building now, but take it away; It doesn't matter that I was wrong in the past, but I corrected it today. The so-called "regardless of the past, only on the present" is the principle of bringing the industry to the future. If you want to start a business now, you can't live. This truth must be understood.

This wish, some people say that this wish is the eighteenth wish, but most people do not "deeply understand the righteousness"! The eighteenth wish is round for the other forty-seven wishes, and the other forty-seven wishes are missing one, so the eighteenth wish is incomplete. Does this great virtue, who preaches this desire to read Buddha, understand this truth?

Forty-eight wishes include the other forty-seven. I hope so. Although we haven't finished reading Hua Yan Jing, we have heard a lot. In Hua Yan Jing, "One is more, many is one", and more does not mean more! "One is everything, and everything is one", does he understand? I would like to recite Buddha as one is everything, so its merits and demerits are extraordinary; It is definitely not to say that only the eighteen wishes are obeyed, and the other forty-seven wishes are not needed; Forty-seven wishes came to nothing, and so did the eighteenth. What is the eighteenth wish? Eighteen wishes are the general program of the other forty-seven wishes. So this is a magic word, not a Buddhist word. On his deathbed, the Buddha taught us four laws, the first of which is' not relying on people according to law'. What is Buddhism? Jing Zong's first classic is The Endless Life Sutra. Master Hui Yuan of the Eastern Jin Dynasty established the first Buddhist chanting hall in Lushan Mountain-Lindong Buddhist chanting hall, with 123 like-minded initiates. At that time, there was only one classic book by Jing Zong, and nothing else had been translated. There are many people in Yuan Gong Dojo in Lushan Mountain. According to the Infinite Life Sutra, this person 123 has died peacefully. This Dojo is extremely magnificent. We should follow the path of the ancients and inherit them.

Modern man, an old mage who was printed in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, is known to many fellow initiates. When the Buddha incarnated, he came back from the western paradise. We haven't seen the old mage. His Wen Chao has spread all over the world. We should read it carefully and follow the instructions. The way we take today is to inherit the master of printing light. My teacher, Li Bingnan Laojiu, is a student of Master Yin Guang, and has followed his teacher's teachings all his life. I have been close to his old man for ten years, and he dare not be a teacher. He introduced me to a teacher. Who is the teacher? This is his teacher, Master Yin Guang. Therefore, people who are truly virtuous and knowledgeable are modest! The teacher taught me to read Wen Chao carefully and follow the instructions. This is a disciple of Master Yin Guang. In this era of democracy, freedom and openness, no one can interfere with anyone, depending on the depth of our fate with Amitabha. We don't have to ask what kind of person Xia Laoju is when we read Xia Laoju Collection. Look at the books he can collect. There is no law, okay? Our self-confidence is built from this place, not superstitious or blind. I printed five original translations and four school-based versions of the Infinite Life Classic into a book, and I put forward a title, The Pure Land Five Classics Reader. It has printed about 20,000 or 30,000 copies. Fellow initiates, see for yourselves and compare with each other, so that you can build up firm confidence from this place. Then look carefully. How many people died after chanting Buddha? What picture?

Tang Bai Juyi's "Drawing a Picture of Maitreya": "Today, because the old illness has not healed, it is important to prove it, so it is necessary to show that you will not forget the foresight."
