Gu Tan Longyao is a non-genetic inheritor Wang, a provincial master of ceramic art and a craftsman of building lamps and burning firewood. A native of Shuiji Town, Jianyang, Fujian Province, he is a national intangible cultural heritage kiln-building, lamp-making and firing technician.

He was awarded the honorary titles of Fujian Ceramic Craftsman, Fujian Academy of Sciences' inheritor of kiln building and firing skills, Nanping's first celebrity of arts and crafts, Jingdezhen Ceramic Expo's excellent craft works gold medal, and the 14th Straits Expo's excellent craft works gold medal. His works are collected in Xi 'an Museum, and his lanterns are worth collecting.
